I've gone over the video countless times... I've come to the conclusion that T-Mac is probably one of the smartest basketball players in the league.

He doesn't have blinding quickness like a Marbury or Francis. But somehow, when he takes that first step and gets going, by the time you do anything, he's gone. He gets by people so easily and so SLOWLY, it's incredible. It's like he just KNOWS.

Aside from that, when he shows emotion, he's unstoppable. Look at the clips, whenever he's fired up, he rips through everyone. Slices right down the middle. He hasn't had that fire for a while.

Reading that he studied a bunch of Magic Johnson's tapes earlier in his (T-Mac's) career, I love that.

Look at how the etams collapse on him, but he still makes it so easy when isolated. He LOVES the slow-it-down game that JVG plays, he gets almost all his points like that. His jumper is smooth as hell, goes straight up and pops his wrist perfectly with great timing.

As a basketball player, what does this guy lack?

He has shown EXCELLENT defense, he's been a scoring champion twice, averaged right around 5 assists a few times, right around 5 rebounds throughout his career, has averaged 2 blcoks a game earlier in his career. If he puts it together, and he has Yao with him for the ride, we could be in for a Wolves-like season where we mesh so well and put it all together towards the end of the season to earn a top seed.

We'll struggle at first, but I think we'll be excellent come playoof time.

Forget about T-Mac, we all know how great he is. He's proven it and has a track record of amazing plays and highlight reels. What I enjoyed was the Yao highlights of the Lakers game. The second to last play on the recording, the one where he moves towards the center of the lane and drop steps to the basket laying it up and in with his left hand. That's a money move. If he could practice that and perfect it, he would be damn near unstoppable. That he has the coordination and quickness of feet to do it, especially against a behemoth like Shaq who is draping himself on Yao the entire freaking time, is proof enough to me that Yao has the ability to be one of the best of all time if he keeps working at it. Between his baseline spin, that little drop step move and his baby hook shot at the height of his jump, he could potentially have three KILLER go-to offensive moves which teams almost can't defend (the exception being the baseline spin...if they know it is coming).

Oooooh, this just gets me all excited for the season.

Edit: Speaking of posting landmarks, I seem to have just passed 7000. Jolly good.

About 3-5 years ago, we were able to download it to our PC. Now they got smart and you have to sign up for NBA Inside Ticket just to view their videos. I'm pretty sure if you Google it, you might find some.
