T-Mo will be a very solid player, quite possibly a future starter at the 3 (the verdict still being out on Griff as the future starting 4.)

I would be stunned if Shanderson remains a Rocket. We have no minutes for him. He should sign for Charlotte's 4.5 exception (Wesley can backup the 1 and 2) or should be signed and traded to Atlanta for Nazr Mohammed.

Walt? I like him but we could use his cap space, and he isn't likely to make the team.

Griff is two years and twenty pounds shy of being our starting power forward, so why not bring in a player who can hold down the 4/5 while Griff develops? (Jackson, Mohammed.)

The one thing I wonder, like so many others, is: what trade or trades can or will occur so that we can unload redundant players?

Terrence Morris looks like a STEAL!! Even 'tho I'm an abashed Langhi fan, I agree that Morris is much more NBA ready than Langhi was, certainly out of the blocks. He can do a lot of things for the team and probably can/will play the 3 and 2 spot. Most of all, he appears to be a good defender....and that, alone, keeps many players in the NBA, When you boil it down, defense ultimately wins championships.

I'm also impressed with the EFFICIENCY of Morris' game. And he does not need a lot of touches, or demand the ball, in order to contribute. Clearly I am inferring certain things from 3 summer league games and the predraft information on him, but it looks to be pretty accurate by all accounts. I don't think he will be awed or overwhelmed by the big boys once the season starts.

Anderson is looking more and more like excess baggage at this point. Using him in a sign and trade might help get us the additional inside game (and insurance if Dream plays too hard to get)we need.

Cassell- when Fegan said Early Bird wouldn't do, I don't think he meant that the 1.3 mill exception would work fine. [IMG] Shandon will want in the 4-5 mill range.

I think the Langhi at the 2 experiment was for 2 reasons:

1.) Open up SF PT for Morris, as well as Bull and Griff

2.) Determine our need for Shandon.

I have no problem with our 2/3 consisting of Cat, Langhi, Bullard, Griffin, and Morris, with Francis also getting a few SG minutes. There is no apparent need for a guy who will need at least 25 MPG.

Raven-What backup SG minutes will be there for Shandon? I can't imagine Cat getting too many SF minutes, due to the addition of Griffin and Morris. Moochie will likely get 20 MPG, and he's pretty much a pure PG. So there will be about 10-12 MPG where Steve is playing SG next to Moochie. If Steve and Cat are both getting 35-40 MPG, not many minutes left to go around for others. in the backcourt.

"I always thought Hakeem was the better offensive player and DRob the better defender." Spurever

    Shaq would probably agree.
