I got a couple of u3011, the 30 inch H-IPS panel for lightroom/photoediting and some gaming. Each came out to $630 with free shipping which is a terrific deal for an 30 inch IPS panel with 2560x1600 resolution.

If you are going to game on the 30 inch screen, make sure you have graphic cards that are upto the task. I will be using a 680 SLI setup for mine. I would use a single 670 at the minimum for an excellent experience.
