His last season was atrocious after he had a really good 12/13

But wouldn't mind getting him for a pick or two and DMo

I don't think people understand what flexibility means at all if they think Illyasova's contract is the same as Parsons.

If we got Monroe, i'm certain it would be on a Morey approved contract. Monroe just turned 24 and is a very smart and polished 16 and 10 guy at the PF. He's a very smart player, great passer, rebounder, scorer with a soft touch around the basket. He isn't a great defender due to physical limitations, but he is a smart defender, He's averaged over a steal and half a block in all of his 4 seasons so far.

Young, very talented, smart, morey approved contract, he should be very easy to move next off season if we needed to.

It isn't nearly as bad as Parsons... there is no trade kicker, no player option and is only half the amount of money. However, if he does not play well, he is another player the Rockets would have to move to pull off a move.

Monroe is undervalued IMO and I think he would strive in a setting that's going for a championship

How could we get monroe? Can't combine a trade exception and a player right? Sure we'd have to give up Jones maybe the NOP pick too.

Yes, of course. If he plays poorly then he's a problem. Just like Trevor Ariza.

That's still flexible though. Contracts under $10 million are moveable.

Anyway, what is the E word you mentioned?

I've read that he had two ankle injuries last year which crippled his shot and movement.

I don't remember is defense being very good. But he can operate in the high post efficiently

The Bucks were not always satisfied with his effort according to some reports.

Monroe is better than the trash player this thread is talking about.

I'd rather take back OJ Mayo than Ilyasova.

Oh, effort, duh. Ha! I feel dumb for not figuring that out.

Yeah, not sure about those reports. I don't follow the Bucks closely.

Don't get it. Not a good fit with Dwight, paid too much to be a back C.

Assuming you mean Monroe and not Ersan?

No kidding, and the "report" from that Milwaukee rag reads like one of Jonathan Feigen's blurbs, which themselves read like press releases coming straight from the Rockets organization, more often than not.

The Rockets could've easily added Ariza and Ilyasova and matched Parsons. IDK what they were thinking.:(
