and he shoulders little blame for that actually. He is but minor in terms of what is wrong with the suns atm. Sadly nash is showing age, he baffled everyone with his stats last season but he is where he should be in terms of age and mileage. Robin lopez and hakeem warrick are close stromile's swift's IQ and actually make the sun's defense worse as if it wasn't bad already. Gentry has been doing a poor job in terms of PT. Carter, al though capable is given the green light far too often and they lack the PF to compliment nash

Brooks had less play time than a third string player on the Suns against us. That is not a "minor" problem.

I apologize. It was an overly harsh term. Don't get me wrong, I loved Brook's ability to shoot the ball from long range and his incredible quickness. Simply put, the season he had was something that the basketball gods served up to him on a silver platter. Seriously, how many teams in the NBA have ever been desperate enough to have to turn to Brooks as their PRIMARY scorer? Our situation was ripe for any player with scoring potential to seize opportunity of. It's not that Brooks even improved that much as a player in skills, he simply gained increased confidence as a shooter. If you take a look at his performance in respect to his increase in minutes, he has remained unremarkably consistent until this year. His stats went up because his PT went up. He was still dribbling out the shot clock, chucking up bad shots, dribbling into trouble, and was still shy about taking it to the rim despite his great speed.

i think the consensus that brooks's play vs the rockets is particular in its standing is pretty clear. I could care less, but stop responding with paradoxical statements. A third string player wouldn't be considered a problem at all, because that would imply great insignificance, and wouldn't even be factored in towards a team's success. I'm pretty sure that was the first time, but if you feel like its worth making a hefty conclusion, do so. Its amazing, maybe you don't proofread what you're posting.

but let me make clear that the entire sun's offensive system is not only designed to exemplify nash's ability's , but hide his/team's deficiencies as well. Its a double edged sword, and now with him on the decline thats the single biggest problem.

Add in lopez, who has shown so little promise that its a shame, the guy is as clueless as ever on defense.

Vince Carter may have been a great player but there are so many times hes just a black hole on offense, like mcgrady.

VC,Hill, Nash are all on the decline. If you wanna talk about major problems, I would address these first.

you don't have to apologize, I'm sure it wasn't your intent to imply such. And yea, I do agree that him being the primary scorer does prove your point to a great degree. I think his shot deff got a lot better, but it was due to increase PT, and more shots as you said.

    You never make sense.

I don't know how else to put it.

Your starting PG is out, so naturally your backup PG gets all the minutes. Instead, the backup of a backup takes all his minutes.

You respond to this by going on about Lopez is a bad defender (which is not true) and making no sense at all.

Do you ever just directly reply to a point or do you just argue about irrelevant points for the sake of it?
