Whatever you say bro. It was only a small piece of my post (and for the record I've been saying it for quite some time now). You may want to do some research before you start running your mouth. I could careless about being known as the Texans insider. I have never claimed to be or asked for that title. For your information though, i have also posted a lot of information on the Rockets in the past. That has all turned out to be accurate. I don't care what you think or what you say. I don't care who you know or who you are. I post the information that I can up here for fans to see. I don't receive anything for doing it (I could careless about internet accolades). Just because my post included something that may have already been posted or reported doesn't lessen my credibility at all. I hadn't seen it. Sorry that i can't pay attention to everything. I know that you're incorrect over Casserly's role but there's no point in arguing with you. We can agree to disagree. You can post what you know and i'll post what i know. Like i said, I could careless about your opinion or what you have to say. Seems like you were the person who attempted to start the "e-penis" contest (as you so elequently put it) in the first place.
I've heard his name somewhere. I know he works for the Texans. I don't know him personally though. I'm pretty sure he's not media or involved in any of this stuff we're discussing. I think he's corporate or works in the office if I'm not mistaken.
I've been trying to get in touch with him for a while. We were old college buddies and he left after our sophomore year. A lot of us have been wanting to get in touch with him. Thanks for the response.
They may go with McNeil as well. It's hard to tell though because a top flight cb could fall to us. It's a tough choice both are huge areas of need. It's going to be the player we covet most at one of those two positions.
Pretty much. He honestly had enough of a buzz at first that some thought he'd be the first QB taken. Since VY's workouts all went well and Leinart is felt to be the most pro ready (although a lot of scouts and NFL personel have soured on him) Cutler's best chance is Arizona. I think they'll pass though because he's not as great a prospect as everyone thought.
But we have the crappiest OL in the NFL. You would think we would go OL early and get the best available. Aren't there any good CBs in FA that we could get for cheap?
now there's a drinking game. he sounds like one of those old gangster movies "we're gonna take reggie, you see"
I think we'll go OL too but I'm just saying don't rule out CB. If a good OL is there i'm sure we'll take him.
As much as I think going OL is a good thing, I cringe when I see the DB's on our roster right now. We have Duante and 3 scrubs. I sure would love to get a hard hitting safety who can come up and support the run defense as well as lay the wood to anyone who so much as thinks about coming over the middle on us.
That's the dilemma. If a cb falls (which is very likely) whom the texans have rated as a mid first rounder it would be hard to pass on him no matter what OL was available. our OL isn't good (although i believe it is improved with Flannigan) but we don't have another starting CB. I wouldn't mind Slay out of Tech even though he ran slowly. He was a huge hitter every time i saw him and could be had n the 6th or 7th round
thanks for the info KAS...i'd love for day one to end up something like this. 1. Bush RB USC 2. Winston OT Miami 3. C. Griffin CB Texas 3. Wilkonson LB Ga. Tech saturday can't get here soon enough
