Good call Dream was just being politically correct. In an interview, Horry said Olajuwon was hot. While DRob was being presented MVP, Hakeem was on the bench talking about.... "that's my trophy.... how are they gonna disrespect me and give him my trophy". The entire team was extra hype after hearing that.
You are wrong about that. Over the last 15 years it is almost split evenly between MVP's being on the #1 team and MVP's being on #2 and even the #3 team. The argument for best player on best team would cause Durant, LeBron, Garnett, Nash, Iverson and others to fork over their trophies to someone else so if the media votes under those pretenses for Curry then they are obviously biased and ignorant. Harden carried FAR more weight for his teams success then Curry did, period. Just look at all the awards Curry's team mates are in the running for and will probably win. It's ridiculous how much help he had for them to get that record. Him sitting out 4th quarters isn't because HE was so great, it was because his TEAM was so great. Harden should win MVP no questions asked!
When playing, you don't want to be objective, you want to be as motivated as possible (he's even implied that's how he looked at things) When retired 20 years after the event, objectivity is cool
Not sure when #2 or #3 seeds became "lower", but okay. For your viewing pleasure @1:19... the entire interview is good though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_-9Z2LF4fI <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/n_-9Z2LF4fI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
