Edwards is the man, we, hell the whole country needs somebody like him in the White House. My only worry is that if he runs now and loses, it may be his only shot.
Man, that's pretty much how people decide to vote these days. Sad. Maybe John can get a better haircut.
The lights are out, yet I can still see. Edwards is cute, but he is just another one of these overpriveleged chicken-hawks that never lived a life. Can't we vote for somebody that has done something for their country, ala Kerry or Gen. Clark? Why do we have to support these elitists (not that Kerry isn't doing well)? Hell, Clark is a bad-ass and a Rhodes scholar! Refman, please don't support Lieberman. That will be the second republican you guys have run on Democrat money since 1992.
Well, Republicans of CC net, keep up the celebrating. You can see, right here, typical leftie behavior that will keep us down: B-Bob and his ilk supporting and eloquent, intelligent potential candidate who sticks to his beliefs but looks as bland as melba toast to many viewers, Achebe and his ilk wanting Clark, after finalizing the ultimate answer on one of the universe's deepest mysteries -- what exactly it is to "live a life," Still others voting Green again, believing that the "big happy, happy, flowing-spewing mother ship from planet Peace" will indeed land shortly after the 2004 election, et cetera. I want to set myself on fire.
ROTFL! I like John Edwards. But I like John Edwards in 2012. He has to be the VP first. He's our young talent... don't burn him out so quickly.
I knew there was a reason I liked him. Seriously, when he was Gore's running mate he reversed course on his demeanor and many of his stances....I recall looking at the TV screen when he was on and saying: "I used to like you." According to my family...it was really funny.
I would vote for fish face! If Gore doesn't run, I don't think the Democrats have a chance in 2004. But what do I know, I thought for sure that GB Sr. was going to cream that governor from Arkansas... If that big eared Perot would have stayed out of it!
Come on, man. Just cause he has a gay picture, doesn't mean I wouldn't consider him. Hell, I even voted for that drunk idiot, Barrientos in the 2002 elections. I'll probably vote straight ticket Democrat every election, unless I see something that I really don't like.
B-bob, you seem to support Edwards. I liked the thought of running a good looking guy and heard vague good things about him. I'm convinced about 10% of the voters vote on who smiles the best. However, despite his looks and well spokenness, he does seem to be a so boringly middle of the road guy who won't take any chances that he does come off as a milk toast. I'm losing interest in Edwards. Does the guy have any firm stands on anything that would energize the Democratic base? As the midterms showed you have to have some sort of a plan and be about more than anti-Bush. He apparently is for Bush's war or refuses to be against it. Re: Lieberman. Talking about delusions of grandeur. He sort of reminds me of Phil Gramm in that it's wierd when a complete dork thinks he can be president. Of course I don't agree with him since he is basically a Sharon clone and should join the GOP. At this point I guess Kerry looks best, though as usual the Repubs with the chickenhawks Bush II and Cheney? will beat up on Kerry the war hero as soft on defense. Kerry's record as an in the trenchs war hero does make it a little harder.
