    The Pelicans' front office is genius. Embracing these creepy mascots has made them one of the "teams of the Internet." While the on-court product may not be succeeding, everybody has an opinion on the Pelicans now. That's more than be said for other middlings teams like Sacramento and Atlanta.

    For those that don't know, the King Cake is a mardi gras tradition and has a plastic baby in it. So it's a celebration of Mardi Gras. Still creepy though.
