Most people are apathetic what does that have to do specifically with suburbia?

I have never made broad statements about a certain group of people, anybody that knows my history knows it's one of my biggest pet peeves.

I have never said anything about an entire generation of people.

Yeah...I do understand. He's an ******* governing Florida as if he's running for president. I also suspect he knew it was sketchy to do so to start with so he did everything he could to cover his ass.

I wrote it MAY be questionable (it's right there in the sentence you quoted). My assumption at face value is that asylum seekers are NOT unauthorized, but I don't know what the official definition is.

The only definition I've been able to find for the phrase "unauthorized alien" is:

"The term "unauthorized alien" means, with respect to the employment of an alien at a particular time, that the alien is not at that time either (A) an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or (B) authorized to be so employed by this Act or by the Attorney General. 8 USCS § 1324a"

So even though they currently have legal standing, they could still be considered "unauthorized aliens".

In additon to this stunt apparently yesterday he also sent an empty plane to Delaware to troll the President. I haven't seen the cost for that but it would surprise me if that also cost about $100K.

All this while there is a major storm bearing down on FL. You would think he has better things to do with FL taxpayer money.

I'm sure that sending asylum seeking immigrants to vacation hotspot Martha's Vineyard sends to the correct, conservative message "Welcome and Come on In!" to immigrant hopefuls south on the border. DeSantis has become The Champion of having an Open Border policy.

"unauthorized" and "illegal" are not the same and DeSantis said this is about the problems with "illegal immigrants" .

Desantis is too politically savvy, he’s not trump, he has a law degree and did the Yale/Harvard combination that only the most intelligent among us are capable of …I really hope he runs for president this country needs him

I'm new, and I don't have a vote, and I share your disdain for Trump, but I struggle to understand why you seem to dislike/hate DeSantis so much, as a Republican. FWIW, he got endorsed by a Democrat law enforcement leader yesterday.

Some people are just against Republicans no matter what, that’s their right even if it makes no logical sense ...Desantis is obviously a superstar. Navy Seal, Harvard, Yale., has the background and the experience…He doesn’t make mistakes he crosses the tees and dot the eyes

In a time when the vast majority of politicians - of both parties - do little but disappoint or disgust you - Ron DeSantis is a wonderful breath of fresh air.

Is a resume more important than ideology? Would you support someone with the exact same resume who wants socialism and to groom children to be homosexuals?

I understand that,,, there’s some people that feel ideology is the most important thing they don’t care if you have the very best Republican president in the history of the United States in front of them they will still vote the other way due to ideology …Just like you will have some people that can have the best Democrat president in the history of the United States in front of them and they will vote the other way it may not be logical but that’s when platform and ideology takes priority. Thankfully not everyone thinks that way

You're saying people vote based on what they believe and their policy positions? That's crazy.

It’s not crazy.. some people care about minor attracted person rights .. , now that’s crazy and we can thank a certain platform for being friendly towards that idea…ok , If the candidate is a premium candidate they should be considered ..My feelings is a proven leader can overcome platform if they are top level once in a lifetime type.

So what if someone is a proven competent leader who has a great resume but wants to eliminate all the Jews?

Just to note DeSantis was never a Navy SEAL he was a naval officer and an advisor to the SEALs.

He was a legal advisor. I checked his stack. No combat action ribbon. He never did SEAl work. He just advanced them on legal matters.
