Illegal immigrants have a higher violent crime rate than Asian Americans, roughly equal to white, non-Hispanic Americans, and lower than Hispanic, black, and Native American citizens. So, I suppose it depends on which demographics replace them (assuming crime rates stay the same along those demographic lines). That's only true of some demographics. If you increased Asian birthrates to make up the difference, crime would go down (assuming demographic rates didn't change). These facts don't really fit your narrative though, so I am sure you will either ignore them or deflect to landlords or some such.
