@Salvy @CrixusTheUndefeatedGaul @Kemahkeith Legal immigration allows for a higher chance of better citizens in the country
I work across the street from the Albany International Airport. Had to run to the bank to get something notarized. Just saw no less than 30 Border patrol Agent vehicles lined up at the airport. Albany might be on the national news tonight.
Do those of you cheering on deporting illegals think that the owners of all the businesses employing them should have their businesses shut down and the owners put in jail? All the restaurants, construction companies, farms, factories, landscape companies and other employers who they work for if they round up illegals at their business? How about homeowners hiring them as full time employees? Jail them too? Fines obviously haven't worked.
No because that defeats the purpose of these fear mongering raids. Let's be clear. Donald Trump will not deport 20 million humans. The goal of this campaign and rhetoric is to put the fear of God into illegal immigrants to where they know their place and never complain about things like working conditions or being abused by their bosses. The most frightening concern is there will be a lot of raids and detentions but the end game is to put all these migrants in detention centers and then them into labor camps. The business owners who employed illegals are working with the maga administration to see if they can create an indentured servitude class of humans to maximize return on investment. I think that is the entire point of all these shock and awe tactics with illegal immigration going on currently.
This will never be reality, but I would like to see a system in place for immigrants that would grant citizenship after a two-year military hitch. You are paid and housed. You help defend our country, you learn a trade and after your hitch you can apply that learned skill to provide for your fully American family. Everybody wins. It will never happen, but I am just spit balling.
What if said person believes in Sharia Law and plans to vote accordingly? You want him given this offer?
What if someone believes the ten commandments should be law? Should they be kicked out? More than half the ten commandments violate basic rights the Bill of Rights provide.
Sharia law is a legal system. Ten commandments is a moral code, so i would have no idea how to answer this. If you want to compare sharia law to some other legal system, than go for it.
This is what we call stupid levels of pedantacy. Language and etymology makes how a western Christian and a Middle Eastern Muslim express wanting to be governed by God's laws different in expression. Many Americans evangelical Christians explicitly state they went the government to enforce "God's laws" which implies the ten commandments. Strip away our treats economy... As in strip away their dodge rams, their frozen pack of jalapeno poppers, their mcmansions and see how these type of people turn into the American version of the Taliban.
You are trying to compare someone who believes its immoral to cheat on your husband to someone who believes the punishment for cheating on your husband should be public flogging/stoning. Makes no sense.
Brah the Bible and Quran have great guidelines on how women need to obey their husbands and how to properly punish slaves. You ever follow the guidelines with your spouse? She gets punished from you if she doesn't obey your commands right? That's god's law. The bible has a great test to make sure a heathen adulterer woman committed adultery by making her drink poison to see if she miscarriages. The bible just has some wonderful laws.
