We have 4% unemployment. There aren’t a lot of Americans looking for work in agriculture and service industries or even construction.

Weren't you a big proponent of E-Verify and stopping business from hiring illegals? What changed?

Also the government can fix this through work visas. We don't need open borders.

Apparently, you don't remember the 60's, 70's & into the mid 80's when it was American's who did those construction jobs that cannot be done by machine about AND migrant American workers did the seasonal farm labor .... The difference today is that the developer and land owner reap the benefits of cheaper labor today.

Much of that farm labor has been replaced by machine (not all) and we don't grow some crops in the ground anymore (unless you really believe that 260 sq mile San Fernando valley feeds a nation of 330m all year long)- it's mostly tree crops like citrus, nuts and fruit that requires seasonal cold to bear fruit - and much of that is mechanically harvested - the vast majority of everything we consume is grown in state of the art indoor, climate controlled facilities.

As a real estate agent and greatly involved in rehabs/investments I can guarantee you drywall does not need an enormous crew. I work alot on our investments, I know how to drywall and can easily cover tons of ground in a very short time. Illegal immigrants aren't the only one's who can drywall and frame, yes latinos are beasts at hard labor but I'd be lying if I said illegal immigrants also offer quality work. I drywall myself because the cheapest labor is also the worst in most cases and I take pride in what I do because my interest is getting top dollar for my investment and making sure inspections come out as good as they possibly can on used homes.

My roofing crew are illegal immigrants thou and they are *cking amazing.... I can not afford to lose them...

I feel for the immigrants. As a Central American, I will always consider myself to be an immigrant. We came here due to the 1986 amnesty act. I find it lacking in self awareness that some Central Americans think they're better than immigrants just because their parents or they themselves benefitted from the GOP taking a massive dump in Latin America. Then they want to make fun of hippie libras' who protested and demanded amnesty for all victims of war, left or right.
If not for those hippies, some of these naturalized citizens or baby anchor central Americans would still be in Central America working some yuppy job, making 15,000 a year in un airconditioned offices. The audacity to think they're better . smh.

As for white people, you know since I've posted here back in the day, I've encouraged you to fly the Third Reich flag if that's what you want to do.

Massive deportations and re-instating Trump's border policies would be a good start. I'm confident Homan will do a great job.

Perhaps the families of the children that died in Samoa after being convinced not to get measles vaccines will have less pain drinking that version of Coke.

My son just closed on a house in a brand new development yesterday. When looking at houses a few weeks ago the area was packed with people landscaping, building, pouring cement. At least 200. Would you like to know how many white guys I saw doing any of this? 3. They were driving the cement trucks.

Congrats to your son on his new house.... But what are you trying to say? That white people don't want to do hard labor but that Hispanic and black men do? I don't think anyone want's to do hard labor and the reason why most of them dudes are not white is because the cheapest labor you can find are illegal immigrant men... But now we are opening a whole new dilemma, your son just purchased a new home and I am pretty sure that the most important thing to you now other than his joy is that the home was well built. But like I said, I work in this area and while there are excellent illegal immigrant workers there are way more bad ones than good ones.... So which is it? Affordability with potentially not the highest quality of workmanship and future problems? or paying more for a home that has better workmanship and less points of future failure?

This is where there has to be a balance, more and more illegal immigrants means someone is willing to do something even cheaper and cheaper and cheaper but they will also put less effort than the previous guy. This is where illegal immigration does not even help current illegal immigrants. We can't just have open borders, there has to be order. I do think the current immigration system in this country is broken and ancient. True progression would be to create legal ways for even hard working laborers to come in legally, work, pay taxes and earn a living. While controlling the influx of people just crossing the border that we can't track, we can't tax and we can't easily deport.

On another note, non border states do have white bois up in roofs, framing, pouring concrete and doing landscaping.

It’s hard for the woke to get that Latino Americans don’t want cartel and gang members into the country that are also Latinos

    the woke don’t understand that
It’s like Black citizens don’t want Black gang members in their community

but woke people use weird logic like that

Thanks. I wasn't making a point, just reporting what I saw. I also have no idea if they were legal or illegal.

They think latinos are this giant gang that they all just love each other and want to be together, bruh... Latinos are leaving their countries because they don't want to be around other latinos..... Woke people that have never stepped outside the U.S have no idea how some of these central and south American countries work. Its not all good hard working people trying to earn a living.....
