That's the thing with woke people, it almost does feel like a virus. Their ability to listen, think or compromise for the better of the country does not exist. In a scary way they will basically defend what their political affiliation tells them to, there is no such thing as reasoning. For example, I've supported immigration since the beginning. Woke people here will tell you I'm against it. Why? Because they have lost the ability to read and understand point of views that their political affiliation has not permitted them to understand or read. There is no middle ground for the woke, either all immigration is great or no immigration is bad.

I view any human who cares about migrants crossing the border because they believe these avacado pickers are harmful to their society as bad people. If you don't see migrant laborers as exploited humans but rather a pariah class I view you as someone who has poor basic empathy skills. 99% of people angry about illegal aliens get all their interaction of illegal aliens through their twitter feed. Many of them even do border cosplay trips in high speed gear to "enforce the border" and come in surprised to see things like golf courses right in the middle of these borders where people are just living their lives in a very ordinary mundane way while they've been inundated with content on their social media feeds about how the border is a warzone. They end up disappointed they didn't get to roleplay as special forces operators and eventually end up trying to find low hanging fruit targets like random Latino families living near the border and make up allegations about how they are cartel members and murder the family inside.
my response wasn't really on the immigration topic, it was aimed more toward Salvy's observation about forum members' inability to read what people ACTUALLY write here and the correlative insistence on projecting different positions they want to falsely criticize those people for.

What I've noticed more and more lately is that many posters are out to GET people and not engage in discussion with people. They read posts solely to disprove them or prove them wrong all together while instilling strong virtue signaling and placing people that don't agree with them on a lower moral compass based on their very own interpretation of morality to begin with.
What discussion do you want about illegal migrants? Please go ahead. Discuss. Why do you think people are out to get you rather than just disagreeing with you vehemently?
