They didn't read it... they got their marching orders from your candidate for president, and the so-called "crisis" at the border can now wait almost a year. And even if he wins, nothing will happen (presidential orders will be deemed unconstitutional again, and there will never be 60 votes in the senate to pass any legislation). But hey, maybe Mexico will pay for some more penetrable vanity walls?
Coming to their sense that it's better to do nothing at all, and allow chaos in order to create propaganda for Trump to run on? Maybe that's your take on what common sense is, but to me when I come to my senses that actually means doing something that benefits everyone not just 1 single American who only wants the presidency in order to stay out of prison. What immigration proposals do you think will eventually pass on a straight GOP vote? Republicans and Democrats worked to create something bipartisan in 2013 and the Freedom Caucus tanked it. They've done the same thing in 2024 with no proposals that can get 60 votes in the Senate. Why continue to advocate for things that have no chance of becoming law? Why not pass something and convince Americans of their beliefs instead of continuing to make a bad situation worse?

I don't think anyone is being "angry" over not loving one candidate. And I have already said I actually respect people that own their past positions. If I were to say, "I don't like trump or biden. I won't vote for either." Do you believe that? Especially since I have clearly demonstrated my support for Biden, Clinton, and Obama before and revulsion for trump? Its clear who I supported previously and who I will vote for in 2024. Me saying it is cheap. Y'all know it.
