"Biden’s democrats would rather give social security to illegals aliens rather than the hardworking Americans who paid into it for years."

Love the attempt to defend this by playing word games. You know vance is trying to rile up magas by saying Democrats give social security to illegal aliens. But sure... continue to play the maga game...

Again he was released from prison when he shouldn't have been. This is why cashless bond is a scam in my opinion. The issue here is @Andre0087 new york and other blue states release violent criminals on the streets in the name of "equity" and this is what causes alot of crime. Immigration isn't the issue here.

We need to stop releasing defendants after they've committed a violent crime. Lock them up and hire more judges to expedite trials

He implied it. They can't receive SS legally. What they could do is use a fake SS number. SS fraud among migrants is basically the fabrication of SS documentation so they can work (which, by the way, today, when they work with a fake SS number, they also pay taxes). The bill would deport these migrants for wanting to work here. This, once again, is part of our broken immigration system. Anyone who is allowed to stay should also be allowed to work, so they aren't overly dependent on local and federal resources. Some might have to wait for years before they are permitted to work. The bipartisan immigration bill is trying to fix that - expedite work permits for those who are allowed to stay.

Today, those who commit SS fraud (using a fake number for work) may be denied asylum and deported. It's up to the immigration judge to weigh their case (did they do it just to survive, for example).

Here is an example of an asylum case (involving religious freedom to homeschool, which isn't allowed in Germany) that has been ongoing for 15 years. They are allowed to stay as long as they stay out of trouble. The family has been blessed with compassion from more than 100k people in the US and Tennessee lawmakers.

While their case is extremely weak and opens the door to many others making similar claims, there isn't outrage against this family because they have not been demonized. It's good that there isn't outrage; all seemingly legitimate asylum cases should have their day in immigration court. Demonization is not a value we should be proud of.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement granted the German home-schooling family in East Tennessee a one-year reprieve from deportation, according to an update from the Home School Legal Defense Association.

U.S. Rep. Diana Harshbarger, R-Tenn., who has introduced legislation to grant the Romeikes permanent residency, praised the decision on social media.

"I appreciate that so many East Tennesseans were among the 100,000 Americans who petitioned support. In doing so, they conveyed firsthand knowledge of the Romeikes' contributions to our Morristown community and support of their right to homeschool their children free from persecution," Harshbarger said.

Uwe and Hannelore Romeike immigrated to Morristown, Tennessee, in 2008 to home-school their five children for religious reasons, after they were fined for doing so in Germany. Two more Romeike children were born while in the U.S. and are U.S. citizens. An immigration judge initially granted their application for asylum in 2010, but it was denied on appeal two years later.

The family lacks legal status, but Homeland Security has allowed the Romeikes to stay in the country under indefinite deferred action status, which allows for prosecutorial discretion in decisions to deport individuals.

The Romeike family said an immigration agent told them on Sept. 6 that they had four weeks to secure passports to return to Germany.

After news of their impending deportation spread, more than 100,000 people signed a petition asking for the Biden administration to reinstate their deferred action status. Forty-five Tennessee lawmakers signed a letter in late September asking I.C.E. to reconsider the Romeikes' impending deportation.

“We are asking you and your office to give this family a chance to continue building their lives in Tennessee,” the letter states.

I still don't see where he says they actually do it. Everyone knows that doesn't happen but it doesn't mean that some politicians would not be on board with it. The tweeter is just soft.

Let's hope the Republicans aka your people will have the balls to pass the senate immigration bill which will curb asylum by 70%+. If signed into law it will guarantee we will never have more than 1 million asylum seekers per year.

In a economy like America we need cheap labor. 1 million a year is a good number. That's less that one percent of workforce

Let me ask you. If a Democrat tweeted
“Republicans would rather give guns to illegal aliens than healthcare to Americans!”
Would you consider that to be fine given that there are Republican politicians who are very fond of firearms?

Nope. But I wouldn't outrage tweet pretending that a republican is saying that is currently happening. The guy is just trying to get clicks with his profanity. People need to relax.

Yes, people do need to relax! Social media hate lines in chronological order:

Bill would deport migrants who committed SS fraud (as I mentioned earlier, migrants typically do that to work, and if they do, an immigration judge can deny their request for asylum, leading to deportation).

It passed the House. 155 House Democrats voted against it.

Stephen Miller stated, '155 House Democrats just voted against deporting criminal migrants who commit SS fraud and rob our seniors.'

JD Vance replied, 'Absolutely shameful. Biden's Democrats would rather give SS to illegal aliens than hardworking Americans who paid into it for years.'

Rick Taylor (whom I don't know) replied, 'Resign, you ****ing fraud... blah blah blah.

Its sad to see Musk participate in right winged nonsense. But the Biden administration did nothing to help the relationship, so Musk can blast his nonsense to 171m voters just like the left.

Maybe the GOP should get off their ass and work on the Biden bipartisan bill instead of blocking it and causing this issue.
