Just move the lounges to the upper area since most of the people who buy tickets in the lower bowl hang out in the lounges anyway. Then move the fans who really care aboutthe game in the upper area down to the bottom. Probelm solved!

    1. find out how many tickets are truly unsold in the bottom half
    2. do random upgrades 12 hours until tipoff via e-mail. first replies win.

    3. at gametime, if people leave the stadium before the 4th quarter, offer a $5 coupon good towards the arena food, good for one month from the game date. no free tickets given away, plus it may give an incentive to come back within one month.
    4. take the vacated seats and raffle them over the PA.

    fuller bowl at minimum cost?

Easy solution. It even stimulates the economy!

I actually love that idea epsecially if the crowds suck like ours. It gives a more epic feeling to the game and less focus on empty seats and idiots on cellphones (sucks for the Red Rowdies though).

yeah right. why would Les give up that revenue? Besides, most of the lower bowl season passes are renewals from regular customers. If Les wants to kick them out of their regular seats, he can forget about them trying to buy random cheap seats. They won't renew at all.

The Lakers are notoriously know for their late arriving and early leaving crowd.
