Well, I'm in the market for a new bat and would like to get some informed opinions on what some of the best bats are you guys are using this season. Here are two I personally like but I haven't hit either one yet, does anyone have these or any others that they like. I play ASA and have been using the Demarini Vexxum, it is ok at best. I also want to go down in weight, i bought the Vexxum at 30oz but would like to drop down to 27oz with my next bat, the 30 is awfully heavy by the second game.

    Worth Mayham M7 ASA

    Demarini 2007 Evo AX

I have always been a big fan of bat speed, chosing a lighter, quicker bat for myself.

Demarini makes good bats. So does Miken - except for the Ultra II and maybe a couple others that are banned in most leagues.

There's not a ton of difference in the high end bats. Pick one you like.

Man softball bats are freakin expensive...

I've played with this one before and it worked quite well for me; it's a great ground ball bat and its SUPER CHEAP.

I have the same one. I paid like $30 for it at Wal-Mart two years ago. (And it won't crack on a random hit like a Demarini.) I really like it.

If you can swing a 30oz, there is no way you should drop to anything less than 28oz.

I highly suggest finding someone that has a bat you are looking at purchasing and asking them to use it for a few swings. You'll be able to tell on a couple hits which one you like better and if you can hit the bat or not! I wouldn't buy the bat without taking a few swings with it first.
