    U are a true fan!!.. thinking back.on.the years I have skipped or moved business meetings, school, vacations, etc...so don't feel bad...if u are passionate about something its worth it..

    Yeah i`m definitely gonna be showing up to work late tonight because I have to watch the entire Rockets game tonight. My job is only about 20 minutes from home and I have to be there at 9pm. So i`ll deff be a few minutes late.

    if the wife is mad, watching the game live.

    if the wife is cool, dvr and watch later.

    of late I haven't been watching dvr'd games that we lose. I think my blind loyalty is coming to an end after 30 years....

    Funny how some social activities get trumped by watching basketball (Rockets) but playing basketball trumps watching it. I have been playing in a league of mostly colleagues on Monday nights so I missed most of the Chicago and Portland games, needless to say I catcht up on those asap.

    Yep, I think it is not worth it to go into a game un-spoilered unless the team has a good winning percentage, I think it hits you harder when you make all that effort to then watch the team suck and lose.

    Meant to add that I too have skipped watching in its entirety a couple of stinker we've had.
