    That was a tense game.

I thought we got away with a lot of fouls.

Altidore played like crap for 12 of his 13 minutes. Is he still considered a good player? Sometimes I feel he gives up too easily. Watching Danny Williams on the floor playing twister with 2 defenders and somehow comes away with the ball makes me dislike Altidore's effort.

Regarding Altidore, the last two games he's played for the US he's gotten very little service. He could have done better with the touches he got last night, but by time he came on the entire team was playing like crap, so it's not like it was just him.

But, I'm glad other forwards are stepping up so he's not the de facto starting forward any more. It's always good to have competition and options if one guy isn't playing well.

Not sure if everyone's seen this, but here's an interview on ESPN.com with Jurgen Klinsmann on the state of the USMNT.

I think Donovan is in doubt. He was carried off in the Galaxy's last game with an apparent knee injury. I believe tests were to be back as early as today.

NO BECKERMAN IN EITHER OF THESE GAMES!

Jones and Shea didn't play this weekend so they may not be 100%.

Good on Donovan. They need to win these games convincingly and remove all doubt. There is no excuse for Antigua and Barbuda being within 5 goals.
