Terrible game so far. This field is pathetic. It's too small. The footing is awful. Neither team can get anything going. The US needs to get Donovan to come back more to get the ball. He and Rolfe are playing too flat up front and there is no where for the mids to go with the ball when going foward. Donovan is waiting for the game to come to him and he needs to get his head out of his ass and make something happen.

I thought the same thing about the small field.

Medina is scary. You can't fault Bornstein's effort in keeping up with him, but it doesn't look like a matchup that'll hold up over time.

Both teams were rusty, I think.

This second half is going to be a lot better.

I don't like the Mastroeni-Clark partnership, they are both too defensive minded to play with each other. We need a creative/attacking midfielder. I'd like to see Dempsey and Clark in the middle with Mapp and Convey wide.

I have a feeling we'll see Mapp in this half. I can't believe they're leaving Rolfe in. He has been the worst player on the field by far. He's playing scared...which is death for a foward.

For the second straight match. He's not an international caliber RB. At least we have Cherundolo and Spector in Europe.

Great save by Sanchez on Convey to keep Mexico in the game.

I thought it was pretty ****ty how the Mex fans cheered when the american slipped on the concrete. And then throwing in the ball so quickly (no sportsmanship). Oh well, I guess they really don't wanna get shut out by USA again. DOMINATING play by USA the last few years.

The Mexican national team has always been known for dirty play. I'm not surprised by the behavior of their fans.
