Bradley looking like an ace on the field. Very much the talisman of this squad. Wondo showing a lot out there. Beltran looks outmatched.

Davis not really having a good game. Bad touches and some missed passes.

    Dos a cero.

Get Dempsey out of there. No need to play him in the 2nd half.

Horse**** offside and egregiously bad non-call for pk.

Some nice flashes from Green, but he's still so raw.

DD is correct, Eddie Johnson was onside. The US' defense is going to be the true test of things in Brazil and Mexico really made them work for it tonight.

He can do no wrong in Klinsmann's eyes so it doesn't matter.
I didn't think he was as terrible as he has been in some other matches over the past year but yeah he has another month to start rounding off into form. Regardless, not like JK will bench him or Jozy for lack of form.

That back line will be the worry point in Brazil. Our attack looked alright last night and it should only get better once we get our best strikers on the field as well, but still nothing that is going to strike fear into anyone.

Liked what I saw from Yedlin. I think he'll be in the 23 this summer (if only because we're so shallow at RB). Omar continues to be terrible for the most part. Green looked about as I expected: Shell shocked. You can see the talent is there with this kid and I like how he took people on. He definitely had a few bad plays though.

So I only follow US soccer every now and then (I'm from Chile so I keep up more with South American teams). I manage to catch the game last night though.

Is this the 1st team defense? I know both teams were mainly using home players, but if the US will be relying on that defense, that causes worry. When Mexico put even a tiny bit of pressure they had trouble holding up. Also, what's up with Dempsey? Dude gets all the press but hasn't been playing well at all.

Green looked green, and the best player by far was Bradley.

Not the first team for either side, tbh, this was some first teamers and a lot of fringe players trying to get on the squads for the WC.

Unfortunately, there's a good chance that the two starting CB's from last night will be our first choice in the world cup. Neither of the outside backs will be the starters though. So the inside will likely be the same, or at least one will be in, and the outside should be considerably different.

Here is that play again. It was as close of a play as possible. The safe call would have been to let the play continue (no offside), but the ref must have seen a better view. At least this was only a friendly.

    Nope, sorry, Uprising, DaDakota, Dumbartonbass.
    NOT dos a cero. :p

For those of you who still DON'T understand the Offside rule, please read the LAWS OF THE GAME again . There have to be two defenders (includes the keeper) closer to the goal than the player involved, and this time there weren't.The ref called it as he saw it, not as your "camera technology" can see it. Stop your complaining. If that had been Mexico I wouldn't be telling you otherwise... it's the same thing. Note that when the action is stopped, which is when the pass is made for attack, the ref can see Eddie Johnson's head and upper body instead of the defender's as the second-to-last player closest to the goal. I shouldn't even have to explain. Offside was the correct call. Thanks for the animated .GIF, Rockets12.

    Fixed it for you.

I agree on the foul. Paul Aguilar fouled Green inside the 18' and should have been given a caution.

    2-2 Final!
