Root for Man-U cause you're assured of a winner ;)

Same here...they have so many great players but play the most boring and uninspiring style.

I can watch Liverpool b/c of Gerrard, he is amazing, but really cannot stand Kuyt, he has soured on me since v. basten played him in the portugal game and he did nothing but squander opportunities that ruud would have finished.

    Sir Jackie Chiles,
you must be extatic after that draw yesterday. I am glad B. Munich was able to tie it up at the end cause that penalty of Kaka was a horrendous call. You could tell Kaka was embarrassed and shocked the ref called it. Things look good for them with 2 away goals in the bag.

Liverpool does it again, why do they play great in the CL and suck it up in the EPL?

Can't wait for Man-u vs. Roma (ESPN 2 at 1:30 PM). Chelsea plays Valencia (ESPN Classic at 4 PM).

I still have to watch bayern.

    about Liverpool-PSV
this was exactly what i expected. PSV missed their entire offense, A key midfielder(affelay) and their best player (Alex). Aslo they have been playing terrible in the last couple of games in the Dutch competition. (they got slaughtered by Ajax, and couldn't beat a couple of scrub teams).
To bad for Psv, it was a nice CL for them, lets hope they will have a good team again next year(altough if Alex leaves them they really have a problem)

Definitely :). I was very happy. That penalty was a complete joke. I don't know what it is with Russian referees and Italian teams, but it's hard not to come up with conspiracy theories after that call. Even Ancelotti, the coach of Milan, said that the penalty was a joke.

My hopes aren't too high as a United fan in this one. The injuries are really starting to mount (we'll be without 3 of our choice back 4) and we haven't looked good in Europe for about 3 years now.

The same reason United have done the exact opposite this season.

United now in big trouble. Scholes just picked up a second yellow and will play with 10 men for the final 55 minutes. Roma had already dominated much of the match, before even having the man advantage.

Should have found a way to keep Larsson, that guy is money in big games.
Why would Scholes go after Totti at the halfway line, when he already has a yellow?!!
That was too risky, too careless.

Gotta pray for an equaliser or at worst no more goals from Roma.

Who would of thunk it? Manchester Utd. and Chelsea down 0-1 at halftime.

There's no team better than Bayern left.

With the exception of PSV, I'd say there are 7 really evenly matched teams. I think it's hard to say one team left in the competition is better than the rest.

As far as the Man United match, I'm actually quite pleased. As I said, I didn't have high hopes for this match, but I'm ecstatic with the away goal. Playing on the road a man down for 60 minutes, and still getting a goal, you can't ask for more than that. The second leg should be fun, we'll have to come out and attack, which is when we're at our best. If we get an early goal, it's going to be a great match with both teams playing attacking football, not something you see very often in Europe.

    7-1 United. That's right 7-1.

    Chelsea advanced as well.

Well barring a massive meltdown by Liverpool, they will be playing Chelsea in the one semifinal. As for the other Manchester Utd. versus....... I hope Bayern, but we shall see.

The semifinals are set. Is there any doubt what the best league in the world is at the moment?

    Man United - AC Milan
    Chelsea - Liverpool
