hehe. I absolutely loved the World Cup this past April. India beat Pakistan like a bunch of biatches that they are. I would have loved it even more if it weren't for Smeg and his pirates.

I cant wait till 2007. That is the next World Cup Cricket. USA will actually have a team and the games will be played in the Caribbean. I am definitely taking the two months off that year to go watch all the games.

I thought this was a soccer thread, I guess cricket goes too.

    Iran vs. Saudi Arabia

Great matches. Lately it seems like the matches have favored Iran though.
The only live match I saw was USA vs Saudi in a friendly in Saudi Arabia. Man the crowd was crazy. USA lost 4-1 and the Arabs went crazy. They were dancing on top of cars on the highway. I think the only people rooting for USA were my parents and my two siblings. I was rooting for Saudi(hey I was born there)

As for India vs. Pakistan, didnt they just play for the first time in a long time in cricket. IMO Inzimamul Haq is the best batsman out there. Hands down. Second is Ganguly.

And Raul owns all soccer players, with zidane coming in a distant second

Dude pass me some of the good stuff you are smoking. Fat ass Haq sucks now. He got suspended from the Pakistani squad for being too fat!! Haq aint even a top 15 batsman let alone the best.

India and Paki played in the World Cup for the first time after 1999. They have played four times in the World Cup all-together and India has whopped their sorry asses every single time.

And everybody and their mom knows Tendulkar is the best freakin batsman of this generation. Maybe of all time.

i just got FIFA 2004 for the xbox. it rocks.

i may not be the most knowledgeable person out there in regards to soccer, but Ruud seems to be the most prolific striker in the game right now. that guy is unreal.

i got man u taking the premiership and the champions league this year.

    f*ck real...

    Hmmm.

Inzamam, then Ganguly? Ganguly is the third or fourth best batsman the Indians have (definitely behind Sachin and Dravid).

Tendulkar is the best batsman, and Lara is the most entertaining and exciting to watch.

Raul is a great player, but better than Zidane? Not for me. Not better than Henry this season either (who is playing fantastically).

How can someone be a great batsmen when they can't run....... Il Haq is just too slow and too hit and miss

I'm a soccer fan, but not real knowledgable about the Euro teams. That being said, I thought that Real Madrids trade for Beckham was supposed to make them the team to beat. I've heard others say that he is more hype than anything. I would think that his corner kick with Ronaldo's sweeping would give them the edge.

I haven't heard of the goalie ronaldo but there are 2 others. There's the brazilian striker who could have been one of the greatest of all time had he not tore his ACL twice and there's the 19 yr old Portuguese midfielder who plays for Man U. I think Ruud Van Nistelrooy is the best striker in the game. The guy is unbelievable but doesn't get any kind of praise. Peace.

I love soccer! I try to keep up with the european leagues periodically but why isn't there a way to view the games here in the US? (besides fox sports world)
