Terrible keeping by the Dutch. Why was he falling down as the shot was taken. It's not a penalty...you don't guess. Should have been a relatively easy save had he stayed big.

If this doesn't get too ugly for the Dutch today, they can still make it. If they get their act together, they can crush Portugal, and we will be fair enough to still beat the Danes.

Anyway, this game isn't over. We should not underestimate the Netherlands, although they have not had one real chance. Badstuber's header could have made it 3-0 at halftime.

Many keepers go down during situations like that. Most of the time they're right, but Gomez just hit an incredible shot.

So what is wrong with Van Persie?? Dude was killing it in the EPL and suddenly picked a real bad time to play invisible man.

Germany + Portugal out of this group if the Dutch continues to play like this. I can see Nani killing them with his through passes and crosses.

Two assists...two beers, says Sarah. Count on Basti scoring at some point today.

I believe she got one of those beers for me when that picture was taken. Either for me or my buddy.

I thought this one was pretty funny (posted earlier today by a German sports website, in response to what a Dutch site did (on the left - what the Dutch did is funny and true!)) - let's hope it stays that way for the second half.

I know the guy (from internet forum) who got a beer from the girl (Sarah) who dates Bastian Schweinsteiger.

    Yes, I'm pretty special.

Schweinsteiger is a real general on the pitch today. Damn...looks like he might have to be substituted. Hopefully nothing serious. Well, if we win this one, he can get rest against the Danes.

If we don't win the EC this time my heart will be broken, such a great generation.

Just to think of all the quality we still have on the bench...Goetze, Klose, Reus, Schuerrle, Kroos...and other than Klose, they are all still really young, too.

FC Bayern Munich (7 players) + 2 key players from Real Madrid, plus Hummels from Dortmund, plus Podolski (now Arsenal). Yeah, I'd say that's a pretty good team. Holland looks pretty demoralized right now.

Neuer would have had that one by Sneijder. But let's not encourage them now. Let's put them away. Time to put in Klose or Goetze or Reus or Schuerrle.

Crap. We were falling asleep out there. Better be careful now!

Hummels' fault. He was playing well before, but I still don't like him.
