Meh, not so bad. I recall back in college I was recording "Friends" and "The single guy" and during ratings week they had back to back episodes of the female leads in bathrobs getting into bed. I think the FCC takes intentions into account. The Janet Jackson incident was clearly a planned part of the act, whereas this was an accident. Just like when someone purposely drops and F-bomb on the air, they are fined much more heavily than if someone accidently says it (ie..keep plucking that chicken) although..its usually much more entertaining when its accidental
Out of curiosity...do you think the FCC would impose a bigger fine for displaying vag on screen versus nipple? They are both considered nudity but one has always seemed far more taboo than the other. I mean, even those late night skin flick type movies on Cinemax don't show that much vagina, really. At least that's what I was told.
I've heard So You Think You Can Dance been losing big rating. I'm pretty sure they paid this girl to pull this off this stunt. Now you'll be seeing their rating will go up because it will attract alot of upskirts fans.

Or maybe we should employ Occam's Razor and say that she was wearing flesh toned dance pants. You know, something elite dancers wear. Since she was good enough to pass into the 2nd round, I'm pretty sure she's aware of what a skirt would do when she's dancing. Or, you can go on dreaming that professional dancers dance without underwear secretly .
I'm assuming this was taped and played back, which means they had plenty of time to edit or blur it. But they didn't.
