The scientist said that this is the first double burial found in the Neolithic period. that said: I think she's jumping to conclusion. I'd argue that Okkum's Razor states that the pair froze to death (hence, why they were clinging to each other), were found frozen stiff in embrace afterwards, but couldn't be separated easily, so were buried together.
After they figure out who these people were, and trace their lineage, I expect their ancestors will be suing this movie.
Yeah, I saw that. Not sure why that's interesting. They'd harnessed fire, invented the wheel, weapons, tools, farming, and pottery. They fought wars and controlled territory. Digging a hole and sticking two bodies in it instead of one doesn't seem like a particularly innovative feat.
when you put it that way, you sound jaded...lol do you play Civilization? you have to balance scientific "innovative feats" with cultural/social advances like religion, wonders of the world, spiritual rituals, art, zoos, and Michael Jackson in order to keep your workers happy, right.
Lol. I guess this means I spend too much time in the D&D. I do think it is a neat finding. And, perhaps it is interesting in studying the anthropology of this or that particular group. But, I just get this vibe that very little is expected of neolithic people if we're going to be impressed with this. They aren't pre-human. Just trying to represent from my prehistoric brothers.
