So will we see a new Yao?

    Yao wasn't doubled when he first came into the league because he was no good. THen he showed he could play so he was doubled. As a first year player though - your memory is playing tricks on you - he shot the same proportion of shots he did from inside/outside as he did his first year, and ended up with fewer assists.

    He got VANDALIZED by shaq and Karla in the playoffs (once again, his failure to box out on the Defensive glass was the proximate cause of a critical playoff loss) and got pushed around even more.

    Yao is at his height, and he is playing the basketball best suited to his PONDEROUSLY SLOW style.

    How effective Yao will be won't change because of Adelman. What will change is other players will get more easy buckets because of the scheme.

    Its not about Yao, its about the rockets. I could give a crap if Yao scored 5 points a game as long as we were winning easily.
