If you think about it from purely a rotation standpoint, T-Jones makes sense with Dwight. Then you can bring D-Mo off the bench with Asik and you've got another legit scoring option inside. Especially if we're changing to more post up sets. I'm sure we'll Parsons at the 4 a lot too.
I can't imagine Morey will go the whole offseason without shoring up the power forward spot. There will be a trade for a starting 4.
I really really, hope we are somehow able to keep Asik, but if not we'll trade for a PF. But I voted TJ although I think D-Mo would be a better fit. It's too early for these kind of polls. I've never been so excited for the start of a season, but I'm glad Howard made his decision early. Both players can practice their game knowing a superstar will be cleaning up their mistakes.
I don't think Greg Smith will fall out of the rotation. Chuck Hayes version 2. He's long, he's strong, and really knows his role.
A name I haven't seen mentioned on here is Antawn Jamison. I know he's old, but he's still putting up good offensive numbers & is a reliable 3pt shooter. He plays very little defense, but can play both the 3/4 which would give us more versatility. He's an UFA & would be easy to include in an Aldridge trade at the trade deadline if we're able to pull that off. I say we see if we can use the leverage of a shot at a championship to get him at the vet minimum. And, we further hurt the Lakers in the process.
That's a really good scenario but it seems like DMo isn't ready for the big stage yet. He needs to get stronger and be more consistent with his jumper.
