    because he's proven to be a capable center in the NBA.

    He has more to his game than what we see.

    Decent handles and a 42% 3PT shooter in college.

    The Rockets have holes at two positions still. At the Wing and especially at C. Nene is gone and we don’t have anyone outside of Hartenstein. Is he ready to take Nene’s minutes? Even Faried is a free agent. The Rockets are going to have to address both of those options before this season starts. I guess they could role with House at the wing but seems like a stretch. Need a veteran there in my opinion.

    ...until they see get abused by Jokic, Gobert, Davis, LMA...at that point they'll ask to trade him for Capela :D

    Cmon man I dont think you can trade a guy you just traded for. Also why wouldnt the nets trade him to Minny straight up and maybe get a young asset or pick lol.

    I don't see Looney as a Capela replacement.

    I see him as a most improved player candidate who can play alongside Capela.

    If we get someone like McGee for the minimum, I would expect us to not use the MLE until during the season for a buyout. No impact player is going to accept that money now.

    Man, room is drying up out there. Very little money out there for teams to sign anyone for more than what the Rockets can offer so chance we can get a steal if we are patient.

    I’m not saying capela is chopped liver. Though he needs to develop a jump shot or something. He got taken out of the game in the last two series by GS. Hopefully he takes a huge leap this offseason.
