If they don't I will be royally pissed. Not getting Butler means little to me but not using all of our resources this summer while there are still quality FAs to be had would definitely make me look around for a pitchfork fast.

If Faried is not coming back, we are in desperate need to fill that gap of 8.1 rebounds per game, and then some. Rebounding and perimeter defense should definitely be the focus.

I'm thinking we're going to stay away from the hard cap for now. That means around $2.1 of Tax MLE remaining. Vonleh's minimum is like $1.8 million. He's a minimum salary signing rather than a MLE signing.

We need to find a guy that we can sign cheap for that $2.1 million or a little less and get birds rights on in case they turn out to be really really good contributors of the next 3 seasons. We need to shoot for a guy that we can get on a 3-4 year deal...like House's deal. That's why I'm studying Euro's and other guys that might fit. Shengelia is making somewhere around $2 million in Europe. He's ready to contribute. I've always felt Uthoff could ball. Just needs the right opportunity.

Here's another guy. Adrien Moerman. Decent all around game. Can shoot, run the floor, board, and defend. Older veteran player at 31.

A versatile defender with length that can hit the three like a healthy Mbah a Moute would be great. I don't think anyone like that is left on the market though.
