    DCKid,

Wilcox needs to stay in school, too. He needs to develop his game as well, and what better way to do that than stay at UM where he would be the primary focus on offense.

Gooden and Jeffries both showed that they need to get stronger and tougher before they make the jump to the NBA.

Wilcox, however, needs to expand his game past dunks and putbacks, and learn to play defense without getting into foul trouble. He can be a great pro, but he has a lot of work to do.

And if Wilcox returns, Maryland should be solid next year with Holden, Blake & Co. coming back. If they can find some perimeter scorers and depth, they'll make noise again next year.

I'm not so sure about Maryland being solid next year. Watching Blake this entire tournament has been rather tough. The guy has simply looked awful. So I'm not so sure the fact that he's still going to be at Maryland is really such a good thing. Next season, if Wilcox stays I see all the hype surrounding him severely dropping. He'll probably be playing on a rather mediocre team, and will not get near as much exposure as he did this season.

But of course he could use another year at Maryland. Hell, he could use another two years at Maryland. But you can say that about any college player who comes out early. Eddie could've used a couple more years in college too. However, I definitely think it would be in Wilcox's best interest to leave now, while his stock is high.
