So who takes a playing time cut?

Discussion in 'Houston Rockets: Game Action & Roster Moves' started by RedRedemption, Dec 22, 2009.

?

Von Wafer is going to kill minutes for which player?

  1. Aaron Brooks (No more Brooks + Lowry duo)

    3.6%
  2. Kyle Lowry (No more Brooks + Lowry duo)

    1.8%
  3. Tracy McGrady (From perennial all-star to benchwarmer?)

    10.7%
  4. Trevor Ariza (Good god, you are the definition of anti-efficient)

    69.0%
  5. Chase Budinger (The rookie always gets the short end of the stick)

    14.9%

trevor ariza easily. unlike the rafer situation, we have other capable guys who can play better than him. there is no way this guy can average 39 minutes a game.

Trevor. Every ******* day, Trevor... He needs his PT cut in the worst way. I think if T-Mac becomes our number one, and Ariza goes back to the role player job (just a more integral role player), both will be better for it.

Battier should get some time cut, too.

Ariza no doubt. What is his FG% after tonight's game? 35%?

I may be in the minority, but I don't consider giving Wafer playing time a given. I liked what McGrady and Taylor did tonight and for now, I'd rather see them get Budinger's minutes over Wafer.

Ariza definitely needs to play fewer minutes, but those minutes should go to McGrady.

I think Adelman will probably put Wafer ahead of Taylor in the rotation. But I'd rather it be the other way around for now.

Of course everything changes if/when there is a trade.
