I voted "yes - missed the Len Bias rebound" in order to make tinman happy. He must be praying to have enough 'fools' to vote this option in order to prove his point. For those who haven't voted, please help the poor fellow out.

You surely sound like a "moron", "fool" and "ignorant" to me. Are you and Legend Killer the same person? The posts of both of you are at the same degree of idiocy.

To shame people who aren't good enough fans(read:to give Tinman his jollies).

I find it to be very satisfying to teach people the history of the rockets/the NBA and weave lengthy yarns about this or that player or game...to me, that's one of the most satisfying bits of fandom. I don't understand the joy inherent in berating "lesser" fans.

Some of tinman's posts are insightful, educational, and full of effort while still being nostalgic. For example, the list of Chronicle articles detailing the rox 5-1 record against the bulls during MJ's first 3-peat. That was beautiful. It needed to be said.

This thread: not so much. You can do better.

    this isn't about nba history.

its about people lying about watching the game. its about people trying to argue something and not even reading the posts.

if you say anything about Yao, even the truth, you get all the non Rocket fans on you here. Yes, these are non Rockets fan. they don't watch the team, they watch one player. Correction.. THEY DON'T EVEN WATCH.

look at the other threads here where Rocket fans are disappointed about a performance. When was it wrong to be disappointed? Do we expect better?

If you can't name the players who guarded Yao, then you didn't watch the game. period.

Why are these people here anyways if they don't watch the game? just to respond to threads with the word "Yao" in it?

apparently. Oh people need to go read the main page "About Clutchfans'

    http://www.clutchfans.net/about.cfm

What makes the site so special is it is fueled entirely by passion. No money exchanged, no bosses to impress, no asses kissed -- simply diehard and loyal Rockets fans giving the honest dish and coming together to form one of the largest sports communities on the web.

Do loyal Rockets fans lie about watching the game just to defend one player when he's playing bad?
