I had watched all the first three games so that the rockets won all the three. But I didn't watch that versus the celtics so... ... I had to miss that game due to my job. I suggest morey hire me as a staff for the rocekts team, asigning me to watch all the rockets games then when the regular season ends, we'll have a record as 81-1. Even though I enjoyed my present job and I get paid well, I still would like to dedicate it for the rockets team.
A message to morey: so, deal daryl, why not hire me and let me watch the games for you? You pay millions of dollars to the rosters but they can not guarantee you the victory, but I can :D

All your posts are backwards insults to other people about how they aren't true Rockets fans, or reminiscing about past Rockets teams, or posting decade+ old articles about the Rockets. So no, I can't direct you to where you proclaimed to be The Ultimate Fan, but you sure try awful hard to seem like it.

I'm just wondering why you have to constantly, and at an increasing rate, have to post such crap, on what I consider to be the best sports team website on the internet? Because it sure seems like you have the capability of being a funny, entertaining, and educated user.... So, what gives? You're better than these stupid "I'm proving a point to myself" threads.

Tinman, being a long-time Rockets fan is very respectable. I will give you that.
But your relentless, continuous and nonstop attempt to insult the new members
on this board is pathetic. You are becoming more and more a moron in my eyes.
Your absurd behavior must be driven by inferiority complex because the only way that you can gain self-esteem is by putting down the other people.

I watched the game and I don't know who Len Bias is. Damn I am tired of all these Yao-needs-to-man-up vs It-is-just-one-game crap. Tinman, you are trying to stir up a controversy that induces even more *** whom you hate. The world is peaceful if you don't attack other people. You gotta accept the fact that some fans actually watched the game but still doesn't think Yao's bad performance is a big deal. Do you want to shoot them down with a gun?

    **shakes head**

I don't agree with his "be a fan of the Rockets since birth" mentality but the Yao fans need to let it go. It's not like he's claiming Yao to be a scrub. He just pointed out a disturbing weakness in his game that was magnified against the Celtics.

What make ClutchFans special are those quality threads. Some of tinman's past threads are very educational to new members like me. I like them very much.

    But this thread is not.

IMHO, if you think this forum is polluted, you should educate the newbies instead of attack or discriminate them.

It's funny you say that. I don't have anything against Tinman and, of course, we have something in common being longtime Rockets fans, but is the board seriously any better after a thread like this?

Some in this thread say he is pointing out a weakness in Yao's game. That's fine. Everyone that watches the Houston Rockets knows that is one of Yao's weaknesses at times.

The problem is the way he, "points out" different things. Talking down to the newer members and just everyone in general etc. As long as you assume he isn't talking to you when he starts his backwards insults then you'll be fine.

If all that fails, just stop clicking on his threads, heh.

i guess the only thing that would chill tinman out from all these bias against new rockets players and new rockets fans is a youtube vid of the john stockton dagger 3:
    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/WhDi0Ce_Z5w&hl=cs&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/WhDi0Ce_Z5w&hl=cs&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I'm not condoning this thread, i'm just pointing out to those confused or are falling for the bait that thats how tinman operates. he likes the attention. he loves stirring people up. seeing an reaction.

Personally i think tinman is a great poster and i love his humor, but there are times he seems to go a little haywire.

Well we agree there. I actually have more to say about your first paragraph up there, but I'm not talking about him anymore.

I think it gives him power?....

    I agree with this.

But an "Introduction to tinman" would be nice for rookies when they sign up. So threads like this don't happen all the time.

actually, why is that a shame?

bias' story is sad, but that's the past. there are many things from the past that you, i and even tinman won't know. that's no big deal. it's not like our chinese friend thought yao got outrebounded by hakeem olajuwon.

and to tinman: you must be really proud of yourself. dividing rockets fans into groups of real fans and fake fans is a really big achievement. i'm sure hakeem olajuwon, clyde drexler or even calvin murphy would like what you're doing. your behavior is just a big disgrace. i pity you. because after all, your actions make you look like the fake fan.
