Enjoyed Morey's comments on professionalism in making it a practice to not talk about trade offers. Loose lips sink ships, snitches get stitches. It's worked well in the past i.e. the Harden trade catching everyone by surprise. He also said he's not too hung up on the notion that the Rockets "need" a guy with a post game. So good outside shooting, and a post game isn't necessary...if that isn't a description of a stretch 4 or at least a 3/4 so Parsons can play stretch 4, then I don't know what is.
Agree. Morey is very open on what he wants and what willing to give up. Doesn't talk specific players though on his our other teams.
Love is our ideal 4, can rebound, spread the floor for slashers, perhaps the best outlet passer in the game for our run and gun style
Granger might make some sense, if we can get him for cheap (like a couple of PFs and cap space), and we think Parsons can be our "stretch 4". With this deal we would still have cap flexibility for the summer of 2014.
I am just waiting for any trade rumors to leak. Its been too quiet. Although, the Harden trade came out of nowhere so maybe we can execute something before the rumors surface
