Texans only suited up Leinart and Yates for the game. OD was a QB in college before going TE.

We don't need an INT machine like Young. Dude has thrown 5 interceptions in less than 2 games.

Kellen Clemens is the only other QB currently on the roster and he doesn't even make the poll. Wow!

Ouch...for the record I meant Kellen Clements...in the Chase Clement spot.

I think this year is special, with this defense and the juggernaught runners, I don't think we can repeat this for multiple years. I'm in favor of bringing in a vet, not farve, and taking a shot now.

What good vets are available besides Favre?

Sadly, none. But even Garcia would be a better option than Yates trying to take over this machine at this point in the season. There has to be someone out there who has worked under Kubiak or Shanahan.

It's bad. Bad, bad, bad. No one is walking in here and can be ready to start in one week of prep.

It was a moot issue when Chiefs claimed him, but this was why I was REALLY hoping we'd snag Orton. It wasn't to start him over Leinart...it was because what we had behind Leinart was crossed fingers.

I had faith in Leinart keeping defenses halfway honest....There was no respect for the pass once Yates came in, and he didn't do much to change that.

Yikes Yikes Yikes. We now have the worst QB situation in the league.

This was the year to be a number one seed. Next year the Texans have one of the most difficult schedules in the history of sports (ok being a little sarcastic).

Peter King says look for the Texans to seriously consider Brodie Croyle. I know, I know, that gets no one excited.

We worked him out already and signed Clemens instead. But I guess we need another 3rd string QB now. :(

    Kurt Warner
    Marc Bulger
    Brett Favre
    Jake Plummer
    Jeff Garcia
    Chad Pennington

I'd take any of those guys over Yates or Clemens.

Why not just let Yates play? No vet is going to give us any chance at a Superbowl and that's the goal (the goal is not making the playoffs). Might as well give the young fellow some reps and see what he's got. Save money also.
