Man, I really don't understand the K Martin hate! This guy is a terrific shooting guard & a very efficient scorer. His D might not be all that great, but we got him for scoring & taking pressure off other players! I can't wait 4 next season when he has a full season to work with this team! Hopefully, if we don't make the playoffs, we can get a high draft pick! :)

Nobody looks good when the game is this ugly. Two #9 teams in a dog fight both three games behind. The healthier/better one prevailed.

Well, 1 bad game and already bashing Martin? Please people, stop the knee jerk threads already. At least wait for the guy to suck something like 5 games in a row before you start calling them out.

He scores and scores some more while shooting a great percentage...that's enough for me. He is not Kobe, Wade or even Joe Johnson(although that could be debated) but he is right under those guys.

He's soft. Phisically and mentally. And he's not a go to guy. He's a Richard Hamilton, and even if you don't realize it, he keeps us on the games with his easy points.

The worst thing with him is that he seems overwhelmed by the pressure very often. I'm not a Brooks lover, but at least I recognize in him some balls at that moments...

he doesnt really display any kind of passion that could fire everyone up, thats not good for a guy who scores as much as he does.

we have championship aspirations.....with Yao. That's a whole other dynamic to add to this lineup. a big threat. another threat like that just further opens up the court for guys like martin opened it for AB. Remember that ADelman's offense was never based on guys directly scoring. you work the ball and find the best options/opportunities. It's not about guys taking it upon themselves to make something happen. They just need to get the plays down, which is going to take a while for the new guys and then they need to bring in yao next year.

I wish he's Rip, Rip is very active on the offensive end, even if he doesn't get the ball, the sheer fact that he is always moving means that the offense runs better.

Yeah, why can't he be all fiery like T-Mac and Yao!

Chill out, fellas. It was just a loss. Plenty more highs and lows to come.

Martin is not an A list star, but I think he is in the company of Prince, Rip, a fringe superstar. We didn't give up A list star for him either.

Martin is our only consistent scorer, you would be stupid to trade him.

I hope so, I hope it is just Martin not knowing the plays, but I can't be alone in seeing that he looks lost on the court a lot.

I'm pretty sure they're quiet because a lot of them are from the foul line...
    Just a suggestion...

compared to the other new guys he should know omre of the plays...but it's more than just plays...he needs to learn player tendencies...like what brooks likes to do, where scola prefers the ball, how trevor moves around the court, etc., before he can be more active. He's not going to be super active, but he's probably standing back more than usual now so he won't step on anyone's toes or mess up a play

Martin is very good at moving without the ball. That creates opportunities for teammates, indirectly.

Really?? I don't see that at all, I know that's what he's supposed to do, but I see someone camping on the wings not doing much unless he gets passed the ball or has a play run for him.
