I think we better go for Barbosa instead of Delfino..

I wouldn't be suprised if Barbosa goes to LA and takes less money.

Need a backup C and Oden should be given a look at. They can bring in and see if can play before given him a contract. 1 year plus an option for a 2nd is what Morey will probably offer.

I'd rather have Smith as the backup behind Lin than any of those guys. And he's not that undersized; he's the same height as Kyle Lowry.

I'd wouldn't mind giving either Oden or Fesenko a shot.

I don't want any of them. Unless we are getting a high upside young player (Oden is not High Upside anymore) or a superstar then I want to go with what we have and give our young players every available minute to improve. The lone exception might be a 3rd string shooting guard just because we are so thin at that position.

Ish Smith, or take a bigger gamble and sign Marcelo Huertas. Another wing would be necessary as well:

    Delphino
    Fernandez
    Pietrus

Fortson or Machado can't even hold Ish's jock.

If Oden were really going to make a comeback, he'd almost certainly get overpaid by someone. I don't see him coming to the Rockets, and Morey won't risk flexibility on porcelain knees with a history of alcohol abuse and cell phone pictures of elephant trunks.

490k for one year is risking flexibility? We have over 3 mill in cap

Not sure if it would make a difference but Oden's younger brother plays for Lamar University in Beaumont. That's only 90 miles from Houston. If he doesn't get a big offer from another team, the chance to be close to his brother could influence his choice ( of course this is assuming Morey offers him a minimum contract).

Let's forget about the "leftovers" and cook up a fresh batch of rookies. Who wants to sort through the garbage when we have plenty of newbies. Let's see what they can do.

IF I had to pick just one Darko Milicic - KMH maybe able to tap into the talent that is still there if on a smallish/longer contract there is value here. It is not like he was our second pick in a loaded draft. He won't bust for us - just be a more than serviceable 7 footer (KMH likes hight). He can play both ends of the court, too.
