Man you hit the nail on the head its the curse, man. maybe TMAC has a point about the depth perception in the Toyota Center
I hate it where some dudes show their descrimination on the black. Maybe your are right, you probably have looked too much at ric's time in sac. You know, ric traded Chris Webber to Philly for three unfamed rosters whom I have even forgoten. Why did ric traded the king of the kings? because ric didn't like the black? actually, the core of the kings team was formed with three white guys at that time, peja bibby and miller. But how can you conclude that it was ric who excuted all these things? Isn't that possible the gm of the kings didn't like black people and decided to build a pourly white team. However, ric resisted the absord decision so that he didn't get a new contract from the damn gm. Nevertheless, which rocket do you think is white? Tmac? Ron? Shane? Rafer? or even Yao? frankly I don't consider yao white people but black people even though he doesn't look so. Chinese people are indentified as black people in south Afraica, aren't they? No race is under another. Neither the black nor white nor asian yellow people have franchise here in the United States, and on our forum in particular. We are all equal instinctly, the racism will definitely go hell.
With him basically saying "I'ma be a terror in the NBA (somebody pay me)", "I'm the best shape of my career (any teams listening to how good I am?)" "I have a 'takeover mentality' & play to win (sense the desparation somebody, I NEED to get paid, yall)"
everytime i see any of this guy's posts i always think to myself "is this guy r****ded?" and then when i look at the poster's name, it always turns out to be him...
I still cannot understand why there were quite a few people here thought highly on James. From the first time he had Rockets uniform on, it was pretty clear to me that James was not a NBA level rotational player. He may come in to play a couple minutes here and there in situations, but he just doesn't have much basketball intelligence to play as a regular rotational player, let along run the offense for any team. The only conclusion I can have is those supporters were either James himself, or his relatives.
After getting James and then later Francis, the Rockets were trying to deal Rafer but couldn't get anything of value for him. This was also after he had two run-ins with the law (as opposed to just one this summer). They were very fortunate they didn't because James and Francis turned to mush. James and Francis shot 35% and 33% from the floor respectively and added 32% and 23% numbers from three. It's like their careers ended the second they put on the Rockets uniform for the second time. Those who were pro-Rafer looked at other factors like "running the offense" -- shooting percentages were always going to be in favor of the others. Yet, somehow these guys shot so poorly they made Rafer's sub-40% shooting the best option. At that point, it was really a no-brainer. I don't know what happened to James, if it was physical or mental, but I'd love to have anything resembling his 04-05 time here or his 05-06 season with the Raptors on this roster. As for Rafer, personally I'd be willing to bet he made a deal with the devil a few years back -- to go from burnt Rocket toast to screwed-without-him, while still putting up the mediocre numbers that he does, requires some help that is beyond this world.
good question but oddly very late timing..... seems like a thread that should have been posted i dont know.....maybe last season...........lol
