Agree, but JVG won't do it. Stro plays extremely well with Yao. The freakishly athletic Juwan got his shot blocked on two consecutive possessions against the Clippers the other night. Yes Juwan is a smarter basketball player than Stro, but he plays below the rim and when paired with Yao that equals the slowest frontline in basketball. JVG complained in the paper today about this teams slow starts, but he has never removed Howard from the starting lineup even after many horrific back to back performances. All we heard the whole summer from the rocket front office was this team needs to surround Yao with athletes. I'm still waiting.

I thought Swift was on the IL b/c of the turned ankle before the break.

If Stro played "extremely well with Yao" he would have put JH on the bench a long time ago. Stro's athleticism does us no good when he doesn't use it.

Maybe my viewings of the games has been clouded, but I thought Stromile has been playing well when he's playing. Given, he's hardly mistake free (is anyone on this team?), but he's producing. He just needs to settle down some in my humble opinion.

You just don't like Stro no matter what he does. Just admit.

If he can just rebound well, get some fast break/garbage baskets and play decent defense I will be satisfied. That's the best we can expect from him and it suits our needs good enough at PF for now. And with JH's performance being so erratic, Stro's injury bug is irritating. We don't need Chuck Hayes or Rybo playing important minutes.

Stro has been playing great the last few weeks he may not snap a bunch of rebounds but he does other things.

he has been attacking the basket ala Amare lately getting to the line or throwing down. I have been waiting for him to do this a long time and he is finally getting it. I cant wait for him to get back as he is looking comfortable in the sets and causes havoc with his speed as a PF.
