They both been sucking at free throws but Capela I think was a 60% in the D-League so could be just the jitters still playing in the NBA. Dude got the same amount of rebounds tonight as Dorsey in the same amount of minutes and scored 17 points to Dorsey's goose egg. I don't even see the comparison at this stage.

hes a bigger guy, more weight and a little harder to push around in the paint. i would say he's a slightly better rebounder also.

As stated in the Capela free throw thread a couple weeks back, I would still like to see Capela get minutes in the playoffs (at Dorsey's expense). Capela's rim protection will lead to easy fast break points. Dorsey doesn't give us any emotional boost with his play, while Capela does provide that boost with his defense and monster dunks. If we can do our best to force those minutes to be the beginning of the 2nd and 4th quarters, that would be ideal.

Joey is older than Howard? And third oldest on the team? Dang didn't know that.

Joey is a veteran leader. A consummate professional.

Joey Dorsey is honored that you think his farts closely approximate Dwight's.

Anyone who thinks Dorsey is a better FT shooter than Capela is just 100% wrong.

Would compare their Dleague stats since that is a bigger sample size and Dorsey should have played there in his younger days.

And Capela has the face of a very young Michael Jackson when he was with the J 5.

Gotta give Capela some time in the playoffs. capela is more athletic and long, offense is much better when Capela is in the game because you can run pick and rolls with him, with Dorsey you can't because he can't go up and get it.

At this stage Dorsey and capela are even on defense, Dorsey has more experience and probably knows defensive positioning better, capela just needs a season or 2 and he will understand that. But I still want to see some capela in the playoffs just to see if he can handle the pressure of a playoff atmosphere

Capella seems to get better every minute he's on the floor. He can rebound, block, finish the PnR, and alter shots. He still has a long way to go, but I'd rather see Capella on the floor than Dorsey at this point.

I'd give Joey the edge on the offensive glass, but that's about it.

To be fair, Capela's only issue is shooting and that seems more jitters and small sample size than anything (he'd taken 15 free throws and he has a free throw rate of 71% lol), he seems much better at those center things of rebounding and blocking. If he shoots even 40% from the line (and he seems more of a 50-60% guy) he's ahead at everything but assists

Dorsey has had some great games that said Capela has improved a ton and Im fine with him taking the playoff rotation spot behind Dwight. He did look a little lost at times but give him 10 mins with Harden in the finale
