got 20€ and a desk chair from my dad, cause apparently you let your son sit on a broken chair for half a year and save money by buyin one as a"gift". While at the same time you buy your girlfriend a 3 night trip to a 5 star hotel and musical tickets. My stepmom went all in and got me 2x5€ cinema coupons. 10€ for your stepkid, way to go. At the same time they fly on vacation five times a year. Shows how muchthey careabout their children .

 

Yung-T - major ouch! Do you ever say anything about that?! I got an IOU and some sweets. We're moving back to Europe in February and she couldn't think of anything small enough but still useful/nice. She's terrible with presents.

 

How old are you? If you're a kid, that sucks. If you're an adult I must be missing something.

Got better today with a trip to the city.

Did more shopping for gifts to bring back to usa today.

Well you did better than I did. I got nothing from my parents.

 

I got the box set for the Dark Knight Trilogy. At my age with young relatives I hand out way more gifts than I get back but it isn't bad because I get to enjoy some of the gifts I hand out like taking my two youngest cousins to the Rox T-Wolves game tonight.

It's their first NBA game and even though they are growing up in MN I think I can make Rockets' fans out of them.

 

Dang maiy. I say you buy new parents. And what's this fancy €? Is it like a much cooler dollar sign?

I was spoiled, and it was my birthday as well. I was also damn exhausted from one looooong day. The best part was FINALLY being able to watch the Rockets on ESPN. That was nice!

i always get more than i ask for (which is always nothing and i mean it), especially from my g/f and mom. i think the idea of exchanging gifts is stupid, but no one seems to share my sentiment.

 

I got a Mark 12 mod 0 upper from PRI that came in on the 24th. Surprise from my wife....so sweet even tho she hates that stuff, Cologne sample set, with Gucci Guilty as the main bottle, some clothes, various gift cards, a couple Xbox games, another gerber knife, the dark knight trilogy set as well...about it.
