Blazers in 7. Each team gets a road win.

We are staring another 1st round exit right in the face. Portland in 5 - regardless who has home court.

theoretically, we 'should' be able to handle the blazers, but i'm pretty disturbed after watching this collapse tonight.

i'm worried that we won't be able to overcome our lack of perimeter scoring. nate mcmillan is no idiot - he will surely begin fronting, something he hasn't done all season.

Did you not watch the game tonight? Another poor shooting performance by Artest, AB0 looked lost, and Yao was fronted again. Brandon Roy and company are going to torch us.

Well obviously the road record was not great, but it's just my prediction that the Rockets will find a way to win on the road, regardless of regular season numbers.

    I'm not saying it's right.

We can call it now. We're the 5 seed.

Portland 53, Denver 34 at half.

'melo is 2-14 with 4 points for the Nuggets. He & the rest of the Nuggets are going thru the motions.

Ya but in a 7 game series, i think we can find a way to pull it out. Scola will play a much better defensive game than he did tonight (hopefully), and not to mention we own the season series against Portland. Even with a 5th seed, we'll get it done. I'm just not digging the negativity.

I'm really worried over Yao's inability to fight off smaller centers who front him. That will eventually be the death of the Rockets, if Yao can't over come it.

I've never seen a player taken so out of a game from fronting, he needs to stand his ground with his arms out.

    Oh well.

    go Rockets

When he does that, defenders flop and they call an offensive foul.

I don't mean flail them out, but I agree. It's just such a tough situation. Tonight he had a few offensive fouls I didn't agree with.

Yao was a beast until the Mavs fronted him. Then it was a different story, our team panicked because they couldn't get him the ball because Bass was on his lap.

Ron went ape **** and started jacking up shots. I really wish we would put Wafer in as soon as our offensive begins to look stagnant. I would so rather have him shoot those open three's rather than Ron.
