Harden is the one that ignores the damn coach. You'd think after a year of learning it doesn't work he would stop doing it, but nope

 

If howard makes 50% of his FTS we win this game easy. Too bad he cant even do what a high schooler can do.

 

They are both to blame. Two flawed superstars.

 

This team needs a tough coach that the players are scared of. Harden doesn't listen to the coaching and I doubt Howard does either. Both are immature players Stan Van Gundy would be amazing as our HC.

A lot of people failed a lot of times in this game. The first half is what lost it, although we'll just remember the last 3 plays.

We can't keep doing the same thing in the first half anymore. Enough 35 point quarters is enough.

 

I remember people getting upset whenever someone brought up Harden's ISO plays in the 4th when we were playing really good team ball before that. People argue you give your player the best ball in the final minutes, while some say the coach and the players have to keep running team plays to give to an open man. lol...back and forth. It really looked like they didn't even draw up a play to setup any quick screens to get a man open for a shot, or they just ran it wrong from bad communication.

 

I like McHale for the most part, but we need a tough coach that won't put with up Harden's crap defense and won't be afraid to yell at him.

 

3 guards line up with iso all the way in the 4th, whats wrong with the coach?

 

Give harden the ball, but can they try a pick and roll with Howard?

Wouldn't that make it maybe a little easier?

 

Not too upset since it's early season, 4 games in 5 nights, and team is still figuring out its identity

but i am tired of james harden shooting 8 3 pointers a game. they aren't even catch and shoots. it's dribble, dribble, shoot - one of the most predictable things in his game. if he stays on top of the key, dribbles, and looks at the rim in any way, it's going to happen

 

I hope he's half as good as Popovich. See the way the Spurs win game, they dont even have much talents than we do.

 

Just was going to make a thread saying the same. It is a shame, cause Miami has 3 of the top 10 offensive players on their team and that ball does not stick in hands. This team needs a hard nosed coach and a pure "run the show" PG ala Jason Kidd type whom will get and keep everyone involved.

yup, he does something amazing once in a while, but that doesn't win games by itself. And when he's cold, its really bad. he needs to involve more players, also not dumping the ball with 5 seconds left..

 

mchale is the worst late game coach out there. didn't you watch last season?

the rockets don't have a half-court offense.

crunch time = pick and roll repeat 4x then bring the back behind the 3 point line and iso.

 

Harden has become so selfish. Instead of passing to wide open players he is taking terrible shots.
