so we moved on from cp3 to rondo why do you guys want to give up on lin so fast already when will you guys worry about the pf position or having a solid back up for harden who will be parsons back up etc
Because the ABJs are getting desperate. They are looking at another two years of Lin if he's not traded now.
A short clarification: We discuss CP3 because he is a superstar and a top 3 player that for a time seemingly was available. We discuss Rondo because he is an all star on a team that currently sells all his stars - so we might scoop in and buy low. Right now only Harden and possibly Parsons are untouchable. You try to improve every other position - this is not about Lin, this is about getting the best team. And star PFs are harder to come by right now (best shot would be a sign and trade for Josh Smith, Aldridge would be great, but I don't think we have the pieces Portland would want...).
