Maybe 5 video games. All sports except for Mario Kart. Probably around 150 movies.

Up until 5 days ago, you could count my DVD AND GAME collection on two hands... But then I bought 3 games... So now I think I'm up to like 6 DVD's and 7 games now...

I used to buy/trade/sell video games around the time Dreamcast came out....it's been a while since I had many games. I never collected DVDs, but I had over 400 video games circulating. I didn't own a store or anything, it was just fun trading/buying/selling on ebay or funcoland or game stop. I still couldn't believe this game called Dragon Ball: Final Bout was worth around $150 on ebay. Unfortunately I traded in my copy to Funcoland for $50 store credit. I thought it was such a great deal at the time, until I looked it up on ebay. Oh well...I made quite a bit of money. Does anybody still buy off Yahoo auctions? They used to have some great deals on there...used to buy off Yahoo and then selling it on Ebay.

That's just sick. My entertainment center is bleeding a few hundred and you have over 6k.

Are you sure that you don't live inside a Blockbuster?

Yeah guys, give me a bit. I am at work right now.

I will kinda give you a time line of how I accumulated all of them

A buddy of mine passed away about a year ago, and he left me all of his entertainment stuff. Computer, TV, Xbox, and 1,000 DVD's.

I myself had about 600 of my own, considering I worked at Blockbuster during my college career. Belive it or not, go behind a Blockbuster at night and check the dumpster. You will strike it rich with DVD's that are supposidely broken are scratched, that are easily repaired. Thats where I got most of mine.

The bulk of this came from my fiance, she managed a Blockbuster for 5 years, till she got a job working for Pfizer. She had over 4,000 movies in her collection.

Then a roommate of mine moved out and never came back again, and he had about the same ammount of movies I had. Left them at my apartment, I moved out and took them with me. It is really sick actually how many damn DVD's we have. I was thinking about selling them all in total on Ebay, and possibly buying a car with that money.

Now, there are many many duplicate movies in our collection. I think we have like 5 Die Hards, and 5 Lord of the Rings. So if you consider that, it diminishes the individual DVD total.

To the guy who asked if I live in Alaska, no. I live here in Downtown H-town. And to be honest with you, I dont even watch movies that much. They are just there for OOHHS and Ahhhs.

this past weekend we filed each one of them into our hall closet, and I am sure they will stay there untill we can find something to do with them.

http://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/infopage/contnent.htm <- Alaska? Ummm... last time I checked, Alaska was not even close to Antarctica... :D

    Seriously, how does
<- this happen ? Were you on his will, or how did he know to leave them to you? Sad news, nonetheless, but... that's NOT LUCK by any means... :(

Else, are you willing to sell some of those duplicates? I'd buy.

Whoops, sorry, thought I read Alaska.

He was a buddy of mine that I grew up, and strangely he had a will. We used to joke about if one of us died, we would get the other persons entertainment equipment, but I did not really think he meant that was going to happen. Yeah, it is pretty sad, and I do not feel lucky at all.

Which movies would you be interested in? I would sell them at 5 bucks a pop.

I second the DAVEster's request for a list of duplicates... but if you have the DIE HARD trilogy for cheap, I'd take it... I don't want to shell out $35 at SAM's... thanks, cwebbman
