As noted elsewhere in this thread, The Athletic is milking this for as many subs and clicks that they can get.

I hope Carlos cracks another rib tonight. Or a massage. Whatever he wants to call it. He deserves it.

I’m not confused about anything. First, I am aware players looking for tells in the dugout is perfectly legal. However, assigning players to look for tells from the dugout on their day off shows how badly the Dodgers desired a competitive advantage over their opponents. The same is true concerning my statement about pinch hitting certain players very early in close games to create more favorable matchups. Obviously, neither of these two points on their own prove the Dodgers were electronically stealing opponents’ signs.

However, a story was published during the 2018 NLCS about how the Brewers believed the Dodgers were trying to electronically steal their signs. https://theathletic.com/599226/2018...ewers-suspect-the-dodgers-are-stealing-signs/

Then, in 2019, the Mets believed the Dodgers were stealing signs. However, they wouldn’t go so far as to say they believed it was being done electronically.

If you want to believe the Dodgers weren’t doing similar things, that’s your right. However, I think that’s very naive. The only reason the Astros got caught and investigated is because a former teammate spilled the beans.

Only way Houston teams win championships is if the best player in the league retires or they cheat ;)

There's enough ex Astros around the league to defend them

I'm so so so so glad we didn't trade away Correa now. Rendon would've been cool since he's from here but now I want CC to be an Astros lifer.

Do y'all think this season is going to be too much for the Astros to handle?

That’s the best Bellinger could come up with? It sounds like Correa is the first person to ever raise his voice to that child.

What the hell is wrong with Bellinger?

Does he have the emotional maturity of a 6 year old?

He cannot refute anything Correa said so he wants to hurt him and call him ugly?

I tell you what “Cody” hit a 110 mph right at Correa.... he has a glove, he will catch it.

God I want an Astros/Dodgers World Series and I want the Astros to win game 7 on the road with Verlander on the hill and Correa catching the last out... a liner off the bat of that emotional midget Bellinger...

To see Bellinger watching the Astros celebrate in LA would be perfect.

Astros pitching staff should come out and say can't hit the ball if you strike out. Then show all the clips of him striking out in the World Series and then for good measures, them celebrating the final out.

It sounds like a 12 year old. So I suspect it could be something Bellinger said. But it does seem fake.
