    Some thoughts.

Adelman will never, ever, declare to the media that he felt that T-Mac was replaced for not doing what he wants.

If T-Mac was treated as any other player (and in any i include Yao) he would be b****ing around just the same as he is now about shots, and the same as he "slightly" said last year that he was feeling "good enough to be a starter again" when adelman put him as sixth men.

Yao and Tracy both have huge moments and moments when the team is hurt a lot from those guys, Yao is benched more usual because of that than T-Mac, who can only be benched if he declares an injury.

If T-Mac was so concerned about his injury he would move the ball a lot more, so he can get less but more open shots, and he would be in less risk of an injury.

If he trusted the team, and the coach, he would not even hesitate to give the ball away during games, i am so crazy or once tracy gets the ball 80% of the time he shoots it or passes the ball in the final 4 seconds of the posesssion??

Of course. By saying more touches I meant more touches inside. Tracy needs to drive, because even if he was 100% we can't relay on his jumpers. Last year maybe it wasn't very good, because you don't wanna shoot too many free throws when you are 68% free throws shooter.

But this year he is about 83% and looks really confident on the line. Going inside will get him going early which will turn on his jumper but also it makes the team better because guys are usually wide open when Tracy finds them.

I understand what you're saying but that has to do with his teammates and RA system too. T-mac has been the main go-to guy since Yao went out last year and since RA is intent on moving Yao to the high post, T-mac is still our #1 go-to guy. Another reason he's the go-to guy is because Yao doesn't demand the ball enough, guys are not trying to get Yao open enough by setting screens and even if Yao's open they like to refer more to Artest or T-mac. I do not know why that is but this is how I see it.

So when T-mac gets most touches, the others are standing around so how can he move the ball ? He can force to pass the ball and is willing to give it to another guy if he's open, unless he's intent on doing his own thing. That's another problem with RA (system), they do not call plays so T-mac can do whatever he wants. T-mac is 10x better coming off a screen, so catching and shooting the ball, then going 1-on-1 but T-mac's been doing that for years. With the injury however, he's not getting enough lift but they should play him off the ball more.

Also, our passing leaves something to be desired so far so even if T-mac would play off the ball, I don't think he would get the right pass but that remains to be seen. We can all agree that Artest, Scola & Yao are not the best passers and Rafer is making it too hard on himself at times.

The solution imo would be for Rafer / Yao / Artest / RA / Barry or whoever is our leader to tell T-mac he should move without the ball more and let the PG handle the ball. That doesn't mean bringing the ball up the court and passing it to T-mac.

You cannot blame this on T-mac because during the pre-season they were running the RA pretty well and even though T-mac wasn't in most games, I highly doubt T-mac is demanding the ball so not willing to run RA's offense. If that was so, then RA is not a coach and should be fired right away / T-mac should be traded right away.

T-Mac needs to sit and get his head on straight. Period. He doesn't need more touches, he needs a sports psychocologist. He's a mental midget. This crap has gotten so old. If the rockets have any aspirations of advancing in the playoffs, they need to help McGrady become mentally tougher. Message to T-Mac: If you do what you have always done, you will get what you've always gotten. Man up.

The guy heaved up 14 shots in less than 30 minutes against Dallas. He gets plenty of touches as it is.

We rockets fans must live with this inconsistent and injury prone for another 2 years until his contract expires, than we throw him to the curve. Shouldnt have traded Rudy Gay! I rather have rudy than tmac right now. That is how bad Tmac has fallen off to.
