Why invade when you can just install pro-Russian leaders across the world

Why didn’t the Russians give Trump the Presidency again?

Because they weren't lucky or good enough this time. The Hunter Biden shitshow only worked among people who own a mypillow.

They can't even stop Navalny. Seems like they have lost a step.

I just finished reading this thread again. Fascinating how many trump supporters who posted in it have vanished into the ether, at least in this forum. Shame doing it’s work, apparently. We witnessed trump and those willing to do literally anything for trump attempt a coup against our country on January 6th, with dozens of Republicans who are in Congress still repeating the lie today that the election in November was “stolen.”

We see Republican controlled state legislatures across the country making every effort to make it difficult to vote for millions of Americans, an inordinate number of those Americans people of color. It is a frantic effort by the minority party to suppress the vote in the election next year, and the presidential election two years after that. They are doing it by passing dozens of laws that they claim are to prevent “election fraud,” fraud that doesn’t exist. A remarkable effort that I will follow as they are challenged in court.

Those Republican legislators are hopeful, I am sure, that the record number of federal judges appointed by trump, and approved by the Republican majority in the Senate, will make decisions restricting the right to vote. After all, the Roberts Court did exactly that by gutting the Voting Rights Act of 1965 that is making much of the voter suppression efforts by the GOP possible to even attempt. It was long a goal of Chief Justice Roberts, who now presides over a far more conservative court than we have seen in a generation or longer.

Were I religious, I would thank God that trump lost in November and that Biden won, but the damage done by trump to our republic is deep. Damage anticipated four years ago, with it’s possibility laughed at in this thread after the 2016 election by trump’s supporters here. Our country remains in very serious trouble due to trump’s years in office and it’s aftermath, the danger to it remaining and unrelenting. This is no time for thoughts of complacency. The threat to our democracy by forces within our country and from without it is very real.

    Lol

Four years later - If there's anything the Trump Administration will be remembered for it will be its seriousness about cyber/national security !!!

You're right though at least we no longer had to worry about potential "negligent security breaches" when we had a ****ing gold plated **** cornucopia of recklessness, betrayal and outright treason.
